Appearance: Clear and bright medium red with a crimson hue.
Nose: Lifted spice, floral and raspberry fruit characters.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with a soft mouth feel and fine grain tannins. Mix of flavours including cherry, earth and spice with subtle French oak intervention.
Cellaring: Our intention is that the wine be enjoyed within two to three years of the release date, although it has the capacity to develop well up to 2022.
"An estate-grown 62/38% blend crushed and destemmed, co-fermented in open pots, hand-plunged, 8 days on skins, matured for 15 months in French oak (30% new). Light, bright crimson hue; grenache provides a cascade of red berry flavours, shiraz and oak persistent tannins. The only question is the price - too low! 92 points." - James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, August 2019
