2025 Pinot Blanc
"There are just 367 vines at Rosily, grafted from Semillon cuttings. Only 47 dozen bottles were made. Exclusive enough for you? Pinot Blanc is a workhorse variety in Alsace, and is often confused with Chardonnay in other parts of the world. It’s often round and smooth and lacking an acid lift. Not so with this Pinot Blanc. It’s one of the best I’ve tasted in years. Pears and peaches do the talking, with blanched almonds in the mix. There’s a touch of polish in this mid-weight wine, but I don’t think it’s oak. Then there’s a very fine line of acidity that carries it away. Keeps you coming back for more." 95 points - Kim Brebach, bestwinesunder20.com.au
"First a little digression on Pinot Blanc…. It’s a genetic mutation of Pinot Noir 🍇. For a reference on style, it’s halfway between the richness of Pinot Gris and the crispness of Pinot Grigio. Popular in Germany 🇩🇪 and Alsace 🇫🇷 , it’s rare in Australia 🇦🇺 #rosilyvineyard Pinot Blanc ‘25 is delicious. Balanced , with medium acid , bosc pear 🍐 , savoury and textured courtesy of oak maturation. Tiny quantities produced so jump in fast for an easy drinking and rare wine style." - Fergal Gleeson, Greatwineblog, March 2026
