2020 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"A beautiful cabernet from this excellent red wine vintage. Oh my, it does pack plenty into its medium to full-bodied frame. Blackcurrant with a distinctive bay leaf and black olive tapenade character swirls through the nose. The slightly graphite and oyster shell palate characters provide a neat contrast to the ripe blackcurrant fruit. It's seamlessly integrated with a long polished finish. A wine with real detail.” - 96 points - Ray Jordan WA Wine Review 2024
"A rich nose of cigar box spice, nutmeg, blackberry compote and fresh leather intrigue from the outset. The palate ripples with blackberries, spice, florals and earth. This offers complexity and depth with great staying power. Fine tannins rib the fruit leaving a trail of bitter chocolate on the finish. This is a stylish cabernet made with pedigreed fruit and clever winemaking artifact. 95 points, drink 2023 - 2033" - Gabrille Poy. The Real Review, Sept 2023
2019 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"This is supple, elegant and spicy, with layers of raspberry compote, black licorice, pomegranate and blackberry. The oak and fruit are perfectly in balance here, the overall effect being very smooth and silky, moving to willowy. These '19s may not live as long as some of the neighbouring vintages, but they will be widely loved for their perfume, class and poise. 94 points." - Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion, Aug 2022
Cassis, blackberry, oiled timber aromas, the palate concentrated and powerful, dense and fleshy. Abundant tannins—supple and ripe. A big, concentrated wine with legs. It really needs several years in a cool, dark place. Cellar 2023–2034, 92 pts." - Huon Hooke, The Real Review, Dec 2021
"A meagre 600 bottles produced, so I’d say the somewhat ubiquitous term of ‘Reserve’ is appropriate here. A fair bit of toasty baking spice oak over dark fruit, damp earthiness, bay leaf and mint. Medium-bodied, rich in oak and black fruit, thick tannin, a dried herb perfume and black olive savoury stuff, dense and firm, though you can sense it may have some brightness yet to emerge. Savoury, potent, and seemingly made for bottle age. Time will tell. 93+ points" - Gary Walsh, Nov 2021
"This was a cooler vintage, yet this very tidy cabernet shows excellent fruit ripeness and palate intensity. Opening shots of bay leaf and black olive with a slightly minerally oyster shell edge to the blackcurrent fruit. Fine, chalky tannins work seamlessly into the medium to full bodied fruit. Dry savoury edge to the chocolate coated dark fruit finish. 93 points." - Ray Jordan, 2022 WA Wine Guide

2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"Medium purple colour, bright red edges. Complex bouquet of soy, tapenade, cedar and tobacco. Dried cranberries meld with blueberries on the palate. Built to live a long and happy life. Tannin and oak supporting pristine fruit. 93 points." - Nick Butler, therealreview.com Sept 2019
2015 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"Parcels of the best Cabernet fruit were selected to make just 44 dozen cases of the reserve wine. The wine is not fined and only passes through a coarse filter before bottling. It’s a dense red with tremendous concentration of flavours. The colour is deep purple, and there's a hint of mint on the nose. Black currants and cigar box oak dominate, spiced up with the dried herbs, the sprinkle of dust and the twist of olive that are so typical of Margaret River Cabernets. It’s a big, dense knot that will take time to unravel". 95++ points - Kim Brebach, April 2018
"A very good follow up to the mighty 2014 vintage. Aromas of blackcurrant with a meaty, gamey influence. Further complexity comes with the dried herbs and spicy black olive. The palate shows some quality oak where it spent two years in a mix of 40% new and 60% one-year-old French oak. Still tightly held, but with tremendous potential in the cellar". 95 points - Ray Jordan, WA Wine Guide 2019
"An imperious red that stamps its authority immediately with a dark brooding presence. Black fruit and chocolate flavours are prominent but flavours are smooth" - Fergal Gleeson, Your Margaret River Magazine, Autumn 2019
2014 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"From 20yo vines at the highest elevation on the Rosily vineyard at Wilyabrup. Matured for 24 months in French oak, 40% new, 60% 1yo. A beautifully composed wine from start to finish. Complexity of variety, region and oak on display, with blackcurrant, black olive, bay leaf, tobacco and cedar all in the mix. Deeply flavoured and firmly structured, it feels completely unforced and already in balance though it's peak is still years away. Super impressive." - 96 points, Ned Goodwin, winecompanion.com.au
"Super vintage and probably the best Rosily wine yet released. This is a substantial wine with an imposing presence. First-class oak has been used to integrate with the fruit from this cracking year. Has a powdery dry thread through the sweeter fruit while the tannin is superbly managed. Super wine - 96 points" - Ray Jordan, The West Australian Wine Guide 2018
"Mick Scott and his team have at last decided to make reserve wines from their great vineyard in the heart of the northern Margaret River. The standard 2014 Cabernet is a lovely wine, and the reserve wine shows more concentration and complexity, more alcohol (14.5%), more oak (French, 40% new, 60% 1-year old), more olives, more bay leaves and more gravel. The wine needs more time too. 96+ points". - Kim Brebach, Aug 2017
"There is a level of oak in this wine which some may consider pushes the envelope a little, but it is integrating well and will surely continue to do so. Chocolate, cassis, black fruits and spices here. Silky tannins, well balanced, excellent length. An exemplary Cabernet. I think this is a stunner and worthy of a place in any cellar. Leaves plenty of wines twice the price in the dust - 95 points." - Ken Gargett, Winelinx Aug 2017
"I was wondering when the modest people at Rosily Vineyard might produce a Reserve wine. Total production of 550 bottles, so it certainly merits its name. It’s a better looking product than the standard. Black and red fruit, black olive and dark mint chocolate, a little cedar and bay leaf. Medium to full bodied, mouth-filling and plush, ripe dark fruit and tobacco, a soupçon of dried herb, thick gravelly tannin, and lovely long finish that mingles fruity and savoury flavour with freshness. Excellent regional Cabernet, beautifully turned out. Nice one Rosily - 95 points." - Gary Walsh, The Winefront, July 2017
