The most elevated section of our certified organic single vineyard site has a significant gravel component in the soils, which is crucial for the consistent production of premium cabernet sauvignon fruit. The 2024 cabernet was harvested at just 2 tonnes to the acre, which equates to less than 2.5kg of super premium fruit per vine. The vine age at the time of harvest was 30 years. The cabernet vines were hand pruned and hand leaf plucked (to ensure good sunlight into the canopy).
