Shiraz 2004
Shiraz in Margaret River is an under-rated variety. Early grape plantings in the region were predominately Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir (which has now been removed from most vineyards).
Wines such as the Shiraz produced by Bill Crappsley in the late 1980s (released as Evans and Tate Hermitage) indicated the potential of this variety in the area.
The Rosily Vineyard 2004 Shiraz reinforces how well Shiraz is suited to Margaret River.
