Merlot 2009

The 2009 harvest marks the 7th consecutive vintage of the Rosily Vineyard Merlot. Our focused aim from the outset has been to produce individual wines with intense regional and varietal definition. The 2009 Merlot is an elegant, medium bodied wine displaying red berry, chocolate and plum flavours with hints of snow pea. Subtle oak treatment and soft tannins allow this wine to be enjoyed now or over the next four to five years.

» Reviews / Awards

"A handy Merlot from Margaret River that delivers classic blue fruits and gently leafy nuances; some chocolate and nicely ripened plums too. Texturally, it's a medium bodied proposition that delivers juicy blueberry and plum flavour with a tangy acid finish. Drink up." - 91 points – Nick Stock, Good Wine Guide, 2012
