Chardonnay 2009
Gold medal, 93 points...
The 2009 harvest marks the 10th consecutive vintage of the Rosily Vineyard Chardonnay. Our focussed aim of the last decade has been to produce individual wines with intense regional and varietal definition.
Over the last few years the Rosily Chardonnay has developed into an intricate blend of different clones. The backbone of this wine is sourced from the traditional Gingin clone, but the addition of fruit from newly grafted Burgundian clones helps create a complex and multi-dimensional wine.
This wine retains classic Margaret River stonefruit and grapefruit flavours, with the new clones adding an extra layer of interest on the palate including mineral and flinty elements.

» Reviews / Awards
"To me is easily the best (Rosily Chardonnay) yet, displaying lean yet intense fruit with excellent palate structure and mouth feel. At a little over $20 it is well worth getting hold of - 93 points"
